PHOTOCHROMIC

Photochromic lenses are lenses whose brightness changes in response to the amount of ultraviolet (UV) light. Outdoors, where UV levels are high, the lens color darkens, protecting your eyes like sunglasses. Conversely, indoors, on cloudy days, in the shade, or at night, where UV levels are low, the lens color lightens, ensuring clear vision.

*Note: Lens color will not change inside cars with UV-blocking glass. Lens color darkness will vary depending on conditions such as UV levels and temperature. Furthermore, the lens color will gradually become less sensitive to change over time due to aging.

Photochromic lenses that change even at high temperatures

This lens addresses the issue of insufficient color development at high temperatures that plagued conventional photochromic lenses, ensuring rich color even in strong summer sunlight. It boasts highly practical and stable photochromic performance, taking into account various usage scenarios.

Lens Color Features

The lens brightness automatically adjusts according to the amount of UV light, making it effective for long-duration activities throughout the day.

Furthermore, the silver mirror coating reduces strong sunlight and glare outdoors, and creates a mirrored appearance that makes it difficult to see the eyes from the outside.

PETROID LENS

These lenses are made using advanced molding technology from polycarbonate resin, which is also used in bulletproof equipment and aircraft canopies, and are extremely transparent, impact-resistant, heat-resistant, and flame-retardant.

UV CUT LENS

All SWANS sunglasses lenses, regardless of lens color, block over 99.9% of ultraviolet (UV) rays. In addition, UV absorbers are incorporated into the lenses themselves, so performance does not deteriorate over time.

FRAME TECH

Grabbing Temple

The side pads that grab the wearer's temples, and the rear end of the temples that works in conjunction with the side pads to ensure close contact with the wearer's head. It does not slip even during intense movements.

Temple shape assuming a cap or helmet

Narrow temples are used to prevent pressure on the head when they are placed under a cap or helmet. The non-slip rubber treatment ensures a good fit even when you sweat.

Adjustable nose pad

Adjustable to fit the wearer's nose shape.
Made of rubber material that does not slip easily even when sweating.

How to replace the PAD

The medium size is attached at the time of shipment. To exchange, pull up the thicker side and pull it out. When inserting, push the thin side into the frame first and push the thick side. Confirm that it is firmly inserted into the frame.

PAD notation

There is a sign on the back of the parts. It consists of two alphabetic characters and identifies ① the size and ② the left and right side.
