LENS TECH

MIT LENS (Mirror Insert Tech.)

Because the mirror layer is enclosed inside the lens, there is no worry of mirror delamination that can occur with conventional mirror processing, making it a tough mirror lens. In addition, there is no color unevenness and the phenomenon of colors changing depending on the viewing angle does not occur.

POLARIZED

It ensures clear vision by reducing glare caused by light reflected from water surfaces and roads.

Lens Color Features

These lenses utilize MIT lenses, which encapsulate the mirror layer within the lens itself. This results in a tough and highly stable mirror lens that is less prone to mirror delamination, a common problem with conventional mirror coatings, and also suppresses color unevenness and color shifts depending on the viewing angle.

By combining a smoked lens with a blue mirror, it reduces strong sunlight and glare outdoors while achieving a cool and sporty appearance. Furthermore, the polarization function cuts out dazzling reflected light from water surfaces and the ground, supporting comfortable vision even in outdoor settings.

PETROID LENS

These lenses are made using advanced molding technology from polycarbonate resin, which is also used in bulletproof equipment and aircraft canopies, and are extremely transparent, impact-resistant, heat-resistant, and flame-retardant.

UV CUT LENS

All SWANS sunglasses lenses, regardless of lens color, block over 99.9% of ultraviolet (UV) rays. In addition, UV absorbers are incorporated into the lenses themselves, so performance does not deteriorate over time.

New lens shape for a closer fit

The updated lens shape minimizes the gap between the face and the lens, helping to suppress light intrusion and enhance focus during activity.

Twisted temple

The characteristic 8-shaped temples not only create a moderate sense of rigidity, but also move up and down independently to wrap around the head flexibly.

Non-slip rubber

Non-slip rubber to prevent displacement caused by up-and-down vibration during running has been applied to the inside of the temples, which contact the back of the head.
