LENS TECH
PHOTOCHROMIC
Photochromic lenses are lenses whose brightness changes in response to the amount of ultraviolet (UV) light. Outdoors, where UV levels are high, the lens color darkens, protecting your eyes like sunglasses. Conversely, indoors, on cloudy days, in the shade, or at night, where UV levels are low, the lens color lightens, ensuring clear vision.
*Note: Lens color will not change inside cars with UV-blocking glass. Lens color darkness will vary depending on conditions such as UV levels and temperature. Furthermore, the lens color will gradually become less sensitive to change over time due to aging.
Photochromic lenses that change color even at high temperatures.
This lens addresses the issue of insufficient color development at high temperatures that plagued conventional photochromic lenses, ensuring rich color even in strong summer sunlight. It boasts highly practical and stable photochromic performance, taking into account various usage scenarios.
PETROID LENS
These lenses are made using advanced molding technology from polycarbonate resin, which is also used in bulletproof equipment and aircraft canopies, and are extremely transparent, impact-resistant, heat-resistant, and flame-retardant.
UV CUT LENS
All SWANS sunglasses lenses, regardless of lens color, block over 99.9% of ultraviolet (UV) rays. In addition, UV absorbers are incorporated into the lenses themselves, so performance does not deteriorate over time.
